ACES Continues to Perform Well on State Assessments
I am attaching the following Missouri Assessment Program (MAP) data for you to view. In the fall of every year, the Board of Education during a regularly scheduled meeting compares our Missouri Assessment Program (MAP) results to the State of Missouri. This is usually scheduled in October. This comparison and other data lets the Board of Education and faculty know how we are “measuring up”. The staff uses the data to guide and modify curriculum and instruction for different classes and for individual students.
The MAP test is given by the district every year in the spring to students in grades 3-8. There are four criterion levels on the MAP test. The goal is to have 100% of students score at either the proficient and/or advanced level. As you can see Avenue City’s students are way ahead of the state of Missouri’s percentages of students scoring at these top levels.
You can find our “district report card” at the following web address: http://www.dese.mo.gov/schooldata/school_data.html.
The “district report card” is published the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education each year. It provides more data and information about our school.
As you review the data you will see that the ACES students and staff are doing an outstanding job of learning the Grade Level Expectations set out by the state of Missouri. If you have any questions about this data, please email me or call the office.
Individual student results will be sent as soon as they are received by the school district.
