Staff Appreciation Week - ACES Team - Working together through the end of the year chaos!

Today we hosted our PreK Parent Day Tea, and there wasn't a dry eye in the classroom. This morning was all about celebrating the incredible journey our little ones have been on this year.
From those first nervous steps through the door to the confident, curious, and kind leaders they’ve become—we are so proud of every developmental milestone! Watching them serve tea (with only a few spills!) and share their favorite memories was the highlight of our term.
The tissues were especially necessary this year as we shared some bittersweet news. 🤍
This tea also served as a heartfelt farewell to our wonderful Mrs. Farrell. She will be moving on from Pre-K at the end of the year to spend more cherished time with her own family. While we are so happy for her next chapter, her warmth and dedication have left a permanent mark on our hearts.
Thank you to all the families who joined us today. You are your child’s first teacher, and we love partnering with you to watch these little lights shine.

It may be May 1, and yes—our teachers are feeling the long stretch of a full school year—but the learning hasn’t slowed down one bit at ACES!
Today, our students were hard at work “removing the vowels” during Word Surgery 🩺✂️—a fun and engaging way to strengthen their reading and spelling skills.
We’re not done yet… and it shows!

Big shoutout to our PACES 5K Training Group for putting their hard work into action at the Huskies 5K!

Play gives students the opportunity to take risks, think independently, and grow socially and academically—all while enjoying the process. At ACES, we believe some of the best learning happens when kids don’t even realize how much they’re learning! 🎲📚✨

Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students had an incredible trip to Jefferson City!
From exploring our state’s capital to bringing classroom learning to life, this experience was full of discovery, curiosity, and great memories. Students had the opportunity to see government in action, learn more about Missouri’s history, and enjoy time together outside the classroom.
A big thank you to our teachers, staff, and chaperones who made this trip possible—and to our students for representing ACES so well. We are proud of you! 🚌✨
