💡🦈 ACES Biz Kids: Shark Tank Challenge! 🦈💡 Our middle school Biz Kids put their entrepreneurial skills to the test with a Shark Tank-style activity! Students got to think creatively, develop business ideas, and practice pitching their ideas like real entrepreneurs.

What a great day for our Biz Kids Entrepreneur Club! Our students had the opportunity to connect with local business owners and learn more about what it takes to start and run a business. We are so thankful for the community members who took time out of their day to share their experiences, answer questions, and encourage our young entrepreneurs! Our middle school students also enjoyed a simulated Shark Tank, where they shared their own business ideas and practiced pitching them with confidence. 🦈💡 Experiences like these help our students see what’s possible when creativity, hard work, and a little courage come together. We love seeing our students learn from the wonderful people in our community, and we appreciate everyone who helps make these opportunities possible!

Our younger students are getting a head start by learning the fundamentals, practicing their skills, and building confidence on the court. From dribbling and passing to teamwork and sportsmanship, we’re laying the foundation for future Aces! Every great player starts somewhere, and we’re excited to see these young athletes grow, learn, and have fun along the way! 🏀🙌 Once an ACE, Always an ACE!

Our ACES students enjoyed a field trip to Patee House Museum and the Missouri Western State University Planetarium! From exploring history to discovering the wonders of the universe, our students had the opportunity to learn, explore, and make memories outside the classroom.

Climbing through tree roots, digging for decomposers, examining predators and prey, and climbing in tree tops wears a kid out! Arbor Day Farms field trip for K/1.

Our Avenue City Middle School StuCo spent an amazing day at NW District Meeting at Park Hill South High School, along with numerous other schools! Motivational speaker & former WWE pro wrestler, Zach Gowen, delivered an empowering message to us about overcoming odds. We were able to learn from other schools' ideas for our council, school, & community. It was certainly a memorable day for our student leaders!

🍕🔺 Learning Is a Pizza Party! 🔵🍕 Our kindergarten classroom had some special visitors today! Parents joined their little learners to create “shape pizzas” while practicing counting, identifying shapes, and building early math skills. ❤️

Navigating parenting in the age of smartphones and social media can feel like uncharted territory. Let’s tackle it together!

We’re hosting a parent discussion group reading The Anxious Generation by Jonathan Haidt. Come connect with other parents, share honest insights, and take away practical strategies for raising healthy, resilient kids in a high-tech world.

From emergent reading skills to strengthening writing skills and learning about proper nouns, our students are growing their literacy skills one lesson at a time! We’re building strong foundations, making connections, and celebrating progress along the way.
