ACES is closely monitoring the incoming weather conditions forecasted for this afternoon. As always, our top priority is the safety and well-being of our students and staff.
If there is a dangerous storm occurring at the time of dismissal, all students will be kept safely inside the building until the storm passes. We will not release students into unsafe conditions.

🌎✨ Earth Day Adventure at Northwest Missouri State University! ✨🌎 Our ACES students had an unforgettable day celebrating our planet! From learning the importance of recycling ♻️ to exploring a local tree farm (also called an arboretum or tree nursery) 🌱, every moment was hands-on and meaningful. They discovered how trees are grown, planted, and cared for—just like during Arbor Day celebrations that encourage caring for our environment. 🌳 Learning, exploring, and growing—today was a perfect reminder that even our smallest actions can make a big difference for our Earth. 💚

The Avenue School District needs to make room in the kitchen for bigger equipment, so therefore is officially purging high-quality, commercial-grade smaller sized kitchen equipment. These items are in "like-new" condition and are being offered at significant discounts compared to market retail prices.
Items are sold as-is, and buyers are responsible for any necessary transport and logistics. Contact Superintendent Grimes for details at 816-662-2305 or bgrimes@avenuecityschool.org
