Our halls were bursting with glitter, green, and a little leprechaun mischief as we celebrated St. Patrick’s Day! From shamrocks to smiles, it was a day filled with laughter, magic, and maybe even a hint of gold at the end of the rainbow 🌈🍀

Twelve students from Avenue City School will represent the district at the Missouri State Archery Tournament in Branson, March 18–21. Competing as part of the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP), the team will face top young archers from across the state.

We wish the students—whose skill and dedication have earned them this opportunity—every success as they compete. Special thanks and good luck to coaches Mr. Jones and Mrs. Davis for their guidance and support.

Don't forget to set your clocks **one hour ahead** tonight! While we "lose" an hour of sleep, we gain a whole lot of evening sunshine. ☀️

Enjoy the extra daylight, everyone! 🌷✨

Our students put their writing skills to work by creating short stories about their snowmen — complete with characters, a problem & solution, correct spacing, & ending punctuation! Now their “cool” creations are on display in the hallway. We love seeing our young authors shine!

At ACES, we’re growing more than readers and mathematicians — we’re growing citizens. 🇺🇸 This week, our students have been learning what it truly means to show good citizenship: We’re proud of these three students and how they represent our school and community — because strong citizenship starts early and lasts a lifetime. ❤️
